Challenge
Create a minimalist poster concept capable of functioning both as an urban cultural advertisement and as a contemporary decorative art print for interior spaces. The design needed to remain visually striking from a distance while conveying the symbolic idea of individuality, resistance, and movement against conformity.
Concept
The poster uses the image of a red koi fish swimming “against the flow” as a metaphor for independence, courage, and personal direction. Strong black-and-white geometric forms create visual tension and contrast, while the vivid red accent becomes the emotional focal point of the composition. The minimalist approach allows the symbol itself to carry the narrative without unnecessary visual noise.
Result
The final concept works across multiple contexts including city poster displays, festival promotion, gallery-style interiors, and contemporary print applications. The design combines strong silhouette readability with symbolic storytelling, creating a visually memorable and versatile poster identity.

Challenge
Design a cinematic poster for a fictional feature film inspired by the British sci-fi series Doctor Who, imagining how its universe could be translated into a large-scale blockbuster format for the big screen. The poster needed to balance nostalgia, adventure, mystery, and epic science-fiction aesthetics while remaining visually original and independent.
Concept
The composition combines cosmic imagery, clockwork symbolism, portals, and references to different historical eras associated with time travel narratives. The central hourglass and astronomical clock elements symbolize fragile timelines, memory, and the instability of time itself. The visual atmosphere was inspired by classic cinematic adventure posters, blending fantasy, science fiction, and retro-futuristic storytelling into a single theatrical composition.
Result
The final poster functions as a complete fictional blockbuster campaign concept, including cinematic typography, film studio branding, taglines, and theatrical presentation styling. The design explores how a beloved television universe could evolve into a visually rich full-scale movie experience while preserving its sense of wonder and temporal mythology.

Plakát monodramatu „Požar v Narcisovém údolí“. Prostor pro vložení přesnějších informací o akci byl na přání zákazníka ponechán prázdný.
Challenge
Design a theatrical poster for the play Fire in the Valley of Narcissus by Vita Kostenko — a production dedicated to the first week of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. The visual identity needed to communicate emotional weight, loss, trauma, and resilience while remaining visually symbolic rather than documentary.
Concept
The composition contrasts the beauty of blooming narcissus flowers with the violence of fire and destruction. Beneath the burning field, hidden roots reveal the silhouette of a woman holding a child, transforming the landscape into a metaphor for memory, grief, and survival. The visual language combines dramatic contrast, painterly textures, and symbolic storytelling inspired by both theatrical poster design and wartime imagery.
Result
The final poster creates a strong emotional narrative while remaining visually restrained and readable in urban environments. The project also includes process presentation materials showing the transition from photographic reference and sketch development to the final theatrical poster composition.
